Credit commission disclosure guidance

The Office of Fair Trading’s Guidance for Credit Brokers and Intermediaries, published in November 2011, describes the OFT’s expectations of the business practices of consumer credit brokers and intermediaries.

Anyone falling within the existing legal definitions of credit broker or intermediary is expected by the OFT to have regard to both the letter and the spirit of the OFT Guidance.
