He joins CDK Global as Managing Director (UK&I) at an exciting time with a remit to grow the business via the newly launched partner programme and ensure product development of the core systems in line with the needs and wants of CDK’s clients in an ever changing Automotive environment.
Global Head of Academy and Learning
Lyn Howdon is global head of academy and learning at customer retention specialist Chrysalis Loyalty. She has 28 years’ experience coaching retailers to maximise their customer renewal and retention rates. Lyn’s career started in marketing in a UK franchised retailer and has since then included working for US PCP pioneers Half A Car across a network of 600 retailers, setting up and running the Kia Academy in the UK plus helping develop a sales and service academy for the brand globally, running her own firm working with major dealer groups to improve retention and also working with CitNOW as head of academy.

Al has held senior executive roles with Ferrari, Maserati and the SMMT. Al started his career as a journalist and presenter with a decade working for the BBC and in commercial radio. He has a particular interest in the application of digital technology and connected car services in the automotive industry and regularly speaks at, and chairs events on, these issues.
