Auto Retail Network is launching a new report and event which will rate, review and rank the top 50 franchised retailer websites for customer usability using criteria endorsed by experts at Google, Auto Trader and Autotorq.

The Website Report will not only assess franchised retailer websites, but also independent car dealers and manufacturer sites for user-friendliness. The report will be launched at a seminar on November 1st.

In the report, retailer websites will be scored for features such as new and used car search, live finance quote capability, online service booking, speed of response to enquiries as well as a host of other areas. Features and website speed will also be assessed across both smartphones and tablets.

The seminar will not only offer delegates first look at the results of the research, but will also discuss the importance of well-functioning websites and the latest emerging technology for digital auto retail.
