 About the Speakers

Nigel McMinn, Managing Director, Lookers Motors Division. Nigel’s role at Lookers plc is to lead the Motor Division. He is responsible for the achievement of profit targets as well as the growth and development of the company through strong relationships with manufacturer partners, finding and integrating appropriate acquisitions, making sure Lookers attract and retain the best talent in the industry and providing a consistently excellent customer experience so that their customers become their fans.

 

Jonathan Allbones, The Car People. In August 2000 Jonathan joined Paul & Martyn Carnell to set up The Car People. In the fifteen years since the business has grown to in excess of £160m turnover business with over 400 employees, and it just preparing for its next stage of growth. The business prides itself on its customer focussed ethos and has led the market with innovative solutions both in information management on e-commerce.

 

Harry Bott, Director. Mediahawk, the market leading call tracking solution for the Automotive sector. Harry’s expertise is helping his automotive customers understand how their sales teams are performing with the leads generated by their marketing. Erica Sietsma, Senior Vice-President, Product & Strategy. Digital Air Strike’s product team and corporate strategy is based in Scottsdale, AZ. Erica has extensive automotive technology experience and has held sales and business development management positions at CallSource and Autobase. Erica has her B.S. in Business and Communications from Cornell University. She is an avid traveler and innovation enthusiast that stays on top of technology trends.

 

Stewart Niblock, CEO. autotorq is a leading technology & digital services business specialising in the automotive sector and working with manufacturers in over 60 countries and 30 languages. Stewart has broad multi-sector business experience having spent 30 years planning, conceiving, launching and growing a number of innovative branded ventures across multiple geographic markets, all driven by the use of emerging technology and the internet. Stewart has also advised major corporates at board level and independent entrepreneurs on venturing, brand extension and organic start-ups.

 

Al Clarke, Director, Fair Play Consulting. Al is a business development specialist and helps companies build strategies for growth through digital marketing and communications. He started his career as a very ‘analogue’ journalist in the BBC using a typewriter and reel-to-reel tape recorder, but has always been at the forefront of the technology revolution with frequent ‘upgrades’ to his skills.
